Bring a Pound to Work Day 2025

To celebrate Saint Catherine's 40th year, the Yorkshire Coast's best loved fundraising day is back for 2025!

Bring a Pound to Work Day returns on Tuesday July 1st.

Teams from Saint Catherine's, This is the Coast and SWC will be visiting workplaces, schools and offices along the Yorkshire Coast to collect your pounds and you'll be able to follow all the action with a special day of broadcasting on This is the Coast.

You can  sign up your workplace, office or school  now for the big day using the form below, you can also download the poster to print out and help spread the word.

Bring a Pound to Work day is more than just one day, you can run your collections in the week leading up to the event so that on the day all your coins are ready for collection.

There will be new ways to take part with the ability to make a donation via SMS Text message or via the on-line Giving page at https://justgiving.com/page/pound, so even if you work at home or are unable to receive a site visit you can still make a contribution to the day.

Put Tuesday July 1st 2025 in your diary, sign your organisation up for the day and help support Saint Catherine's in their ruby anniversary year.

Pre-registration for Bring a Pound to Work Day will close on Monday June 30th, but you can still donate your coins online or via SMS text message.

Donate Your Pounds Online

If we can't visit your workplace or if you are working from home, you can submit your donation to Saint Catherine's on the Bring a Pound to Work Day Just Giving page at :

• Just Giving will charge 20p plus 1.9% of your donation for each online donation. If you are donating just a pound then it might be better to donate via SMS text message if you can.

Donate Your Pounds via SMS Text Message

If you are working from home and can't get your pound to the office then you can donate via SMS text message.

Simply text the word POUND followed by the amount you want to donate to 70470.

So, to donate one pound text POUND1 to 70470

To donate a higher amount just change the number i.e. POUND2, POUND5, POUND10. The most you can donate in one SMS message is £20, larger donations can be made via the Just Giving page.

• The text donation service is powered by donr.com, 95% of your donations will go directly to Saint Catherine's. The text will cost the value of your donation plus your standard network fee for sending a text.
