Witness Appeal for Public Decency Investigation in Scarborough

Police are appealing for information about an incident involving an outrage of public decency and exposure in Scarborough.

Officers are investigating reports that on Tuesday 27 April 2021, about 7.30pm, a man exposed himself from a window on Victoria Road in the town.

If you witnessed this directly or were in the area at the time, you are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting 12210107438, or email 001361@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk

Officers say they are aware that there are photographs linked to the incident circulating on social media. However, the appeal is specifically for those who may have witnessed the incident directly.
