Whitby Town Aim For Two in Two on Tuesday

Whitby Town are looking for back-to-back victories when they host Gainsborough Trinity.

The Blues picked up their first victory under Gary Liddle, on Saturday, when they beat Prescot Cables 2-1.

It was third time lucky for the Seasiders after draws with Morpeth 1-1 and Leek Town 0-0 in Liddle's opening two matches as manager.

Tuesday's visitors beat fellow non-Leaguers Hednesford Town, on penalties, to reach the second round proper of the FA Cup, at the weekend.

Striker Connor Simpson is back from a spell in Australia for the next two months:

Simpson returned in Saturday's win and says he received a great welcome from everyone at the club:

Kick-off at the Towbar Express Stadium is 7.45pm.
