A local theatre company are adding real wind to their latest performance of the Wind in the Willows.

Scarborough Theatre Company are staging the performance outside this weekend.

Alex Weatherhill from the group says they will be performing at Woodend and making use of the gardens.

Scarborough Theatre Company are staging the production outdoors and using local up and coming actors.

Based on Kenneth Grahame's timeless classic about the lives and antics of Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad, Alex says he hopes this brand new musical adaptation will deliver some messages about conservation.

Performances are taking place at 12pm, 3pm and 6pm over the bank holiday weekend. More information is available at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/scbo/the-wind-in-the-willows/e-rxlqbr
