Bridlington were held to a draw and Folkton & Flixton were hit by the weather, but Scarborough & Whitby's cricketers picked up great wins on Saturday.
It was an unbeaten day for the Yorkshire Coast's leading cricket sides, two won, another drew and rain hit another.
Scarborough were victorious, in Yorkshire Premier North, beating Stamford Bridge by 86 runs, after a battling batting display and a formidable show with the ball.
Despite losing early wickets, Pat Roberts' men squeezed over 200 out of their 50 overs, finishing with 203/8, thanks to Roberts' own 60 and 56 from Joe Davies.
With the ball, Boro were dominant, quickly reducing their hosts to 28 for 4- with James Wainman grabbing three early wickets. Bridge never recovered and subsided to 117 all out. As well as Wainman's onslaught, Prince Bedi made a triumphant first appearance with figures of 2 for 10 and Ben Elvidge picked up 2 for 16.
Whitby's bowlers were also in impressive mood, in North Yorkshire South Durham Division One, reducing Middlesbrough Seconds to 101 all out, thanks to 4 for 22 from Fin Morris, plus 2 for 2 from Morris' brother Kai and 2 for 11 for the evergreen Ricky Hall. The visitors then reached their target for the loss of just two wickets, Fin Morris and Joe Padmore both finished unbeaten on 39.
It's as you were in the York & District Premier Division as Folkton and Flixton's top two clash with leaders Sessay was washed out leaving Sessay on 95 for 5, following a thunder storm and torrential rain.
Bridlington stay top of Division One East despite failing to beat Woodhouse Grange Seconds. The home side posted a formidable 271 for 3. In reply, Brid made 245 for 9, finishing 26 runs adrift but taking crucial points in a losing draw. Steve Janney top-scored with 56.
