
Network Rail say the works will be taking place later in October.
Buses will replace trains between Driffield, Bridlington and Scarborough between 23 and 31 October 2021
Network Rail will be undertaking major re-signalling works at Bridlington station and this requires the line between Driffield and Seamer to be closed for nine days.
Northern Rail say that during this time services will be revised as follows:
- Trains will run between Driffield, Beverley, Hull and York/Sheffield via Goole
- Rail replacement buses will run between Driffield, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough.
TransPennine Express will continue to run trains between Seamer and Scarborough and their timetable is unchanged.
Northern are advising passengers to allow extra time for their journeys, the estimate the following journey times.
