The first ‘Race the Waves’ event took place in 2018 and 2019 saw it expand to a full weekend of events. The event was postponed in both 2020 and 2021 due to COVID.
Councillor Jane Evison, portfolio holder for economic investment, growth and tourism at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said:
“The previous Race the Waves events proved to be very popular following the very first event in 2018 and it has been such a shame to have to postpone this event in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. I’m delighted it is back for 2022 and would recommend residents in Bridlington and visitors to the area to get involved. The event is completely free and well worth coming down to experience some vintage motor exhibitions.”
