The Seadogs beat their west coast league rivals Marine 4-1 on a chilly afternoon at Scarborough Sports Village.
Scarborough created very little in front of the Marine goal in the first half and it was the visitors who took the lead in the 25th minute.
A corner was headed in with power by James Butler.
Boro did score an equaliser when an Alex Brown cross was headed in with equal ferocity by Stephen Walker just before the break.
Scarborough were much improved in the 2nd half, creating a number of chances and it wasn't long before they took the lead, Walker scoring his 2nd of the game and third for Boro - again heading in - this time from a corner.
The Seadogs were then awarded a penalty, and with Walker on a hattrick, it was only ever going to be him taking the kick from the spot.
He sent the keeper Maxted the wrong way and secured his hattrick in just 15 minutes of football.
Here's how the goals went in, with commentary from This Is The Coast Extra:
Marine created a number of chances and could easily have pulled themselves back into the game but it was Scarborough who scored the next goal.
A dangerous low cross was put into his own net by Butler, the Marine number 6 who'd scored the opener for the visitors earlier in the match.
1310 fans came out to watch, including an impressive 50 or so from Merseyside.
