As England meet Scotland at Wembley in Euro 2020 tonight, North Yorkshire Health bosses warn that COVID cases are on the rise and urge people to stay COVID safe while watching the match.
Tonight's home nations clash comes against the backdrop of an increase in the number of COVID cases across the country
Pubs will have a number of social distancing restrictions in place, at home the rule of six still applies indoors but up to 30 people can meet in a garden.
Richard Webb is the county's Director of Health and Adult Services.
Louise Wallace is North Yorkshire's Director of Public Health, she says we need to be careful watching the match as COVID cases in the county are increasing.
Coronavirus update 17/6"The majority of cases do appear to be among younger people and adults under 30 years of age but I would say, just caution, that anybody at any age can get the virus. The delta variant does appear, as is the case nationally, to be the dominant strain of Covid-19 across North Yorkshire."
