Speed Camera Review for North Yorkshire's Roads

The County's new Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner is looking into their use.

North Yorkshire's new Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has announced a review of the county’s mobile speed camera van system.

Philip Allott says the review is in response to public feedback that the vans are used in the wrong locations.

Philip Allott says tackling speeding and ant-social driving is one of his priorities.

Assistant Chief Constable Mark Pannone says speed is a key issue in road safety and says education is the key to solving the issue.
