Senior North Yorks Council Official Says We Have To Find Ways To Live with Covid

The government is due to make a final decision tomorrow about whether the further easing of lockdown restrictions can be implimented in a week's time.

Ministers say they want to assess the latest data.

Even if the restrictions are lifted on the 19th, the risk of infection will remain.

Richard Webb is North Yorkshire County Council's director of Health and Adult services he thinks we are going to have to find ways to live with COVID:

One of the rules that is likely to go is the compulsary use of facemasks.

Richard says some people will want to carry on using them:
