
North Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a Police Constable Student Officer to be based in Scarborough.
Applications for the student role close next Monday (June 28th) the North Yorkshire Force say :
"We are looking for individuals who are willing to be posted to our Scarborough station, who are passionate about protecting and changing lives of those who live and visit Britain’s first seaside resort."
They are holding a number of events this week for anyone interested in the role to find out more.
There are to virtual events taking place which participants need to register for in advance.

Officers say their mobile van will also be out on Saturday 26th June between 10am-3pm outside Bon Marche/Holland and Barrett in Scarborough town they say:
"This is a good opportunity to ask the Officers what it's like to work at the coast and to answer any questions you may have about being a Police Officer.
These events will give you further insight into the recruitment process, the PCDA course and also the opportunity to hear from Officers who currently police the Scarborough coast!"
