Scarborough fire crew rescued an unusual customer on Friday afternoon.
Officers assisted an RSPCA officer in releasing a male swan that had got it's leg stuck in some fencing, in Seamer.
Crews used a gotcha line, which is similar to that used to lift casualties from distance, and hand tools to release the swan into the care of the RSPCA officer.
