
Another last minute Lewis Maloney goal has sent Scarborough Athletic to the fringes of a play-off place in the NPL Premier.
Boro leapfrogged rivals Whitby Town to go just one point from the play-offs on Saturday.
Jono Greening's men won 1-0 at Stalybridge Celtic after Maloney's late goal- the former Whitby midfielder had secured a draw against Morpeth with a last-gasp free-kick.
Greening told Scarborough Athletic TV he felt it was a deserved victory:
Meanwhile, Town were beaten 2-0 at home by Atherton Collieries.
It's now four league games without a win for the Seasiders who drop to seventh in a crowded play-off picture.

Bridlington Town took another step to NPL East safety after beating Pontefract 2-0.
