Scarborough Athletic manager Jono Greening was disappointed with his backline after a 4-0 loss at Liversedge from one of the divisions below. Whitby Town and Bridlington were also in FA Trophy action on Saturday.
Whitby beat NPL East Shildon 1-0 thanks to Jacob Hazel's goal, this just after the County Durham hosts had Chay Liddle sent off.
Bridlington Town suffered a 7-0 thumping from Marske United, also of NPL East. Marske, fresh from a long FA Cup run to the final qualifying round, were in unstoppable form, with striker Adam Boyes netting four of the goals.
Liversedge are the league leaders in NPL East and they took Scarborough Athletic apart with a 4-0 victory.
Boro boss Jono Greening sees issues at both ends of the field:
It was only 1-0 at half-time, but the West Yorkshire side showed why they are favourites to join Scarborough and Whitby in the NPL Premier, next season, with a strong second-half showing.
Greening said some players don't deserve their place in the line-up:
