Wrapping is underway of around 22,000 toys collected as part of this years Scarborough Toy appeal.
The annual Rotary Club event concluded at the weekend with a toy service at the Salvation Army Citadel.
Rotary President Nigel Wood says the local support for the appeal was first rate.
Nigel says 34 local firms supported the scheme along with large numbers of local people.
An amazing array of donations were delivered to the Headquarters of the Scarborough Salvation Army and celebrated at a special carol service on the evening of the 5th December. The 'team' then helped load the donations into vehicles which were then delivered to Coventry University for wrapping before being distributed across the Scarborough district.

Nigel says the task of wrapping and distributing the gifts is a big undertaking.
