Scarborough Set to Welcome Santa

Santa will be arriving in Scarborough Harbour on Saturday.

As is tradition Father Christmas will arrive by boat into the harbour at around 11am on Saturday November 18th, where he will be greeted by the Scarborough Sixth Form Elf Band and the YMCA pantomime cast along with Paddy from this is the Coast and our mascot Rover Reporter.

The festive tradition will continue with Santa taking a sleigh ride up Eastborough, St Thomas Street and Castle Road before arriving at his Grotto at Boyes department store.

The Hunmanby Brass Band will be playing at the store on Saturday morning.

Boyes say that their Santa's Grotto will be open every Thursday and Friday afternoon between 1pm and 5pm and all Saturday’s and Sunday’s
up until Christmas Eve.
