Driffield edged a thriller with Huddersfield, 33-32, in North East 1.
Bridlington lost 37-21 to Harrogate Pythons at Dukes Park in Yorkshire One.
Whitby were also beaten, 19-3, at Seaham, in Durham & Northumberland Division Three.
There was better news for Hornsea who returned to winning ways with a 32-7 victory at Leeds Modernians, in Yorkshire Four North.
