After back to back defeats in Yorkshire Premier North, Scarborough CC had a quick chance to bounce back on Sunday.
They had a clash in the ECB National Club Championship, at North Marine Road.
Visitors Treeton won the toss and put Scarborough in to bat.
Openers Tom Bussey (27) and Jack Redshaw (31) put on 69 for the first wicket.
That set the tone for a competitive total from their 40 overs as Boro posted 182/4.
Tristin Van Schalkwyk then blew their Rotherham opponents away with 5 wickets for 17 runs.
Harrison Wood took 2 for 18 and there were also wickets for Redshaw, Clarke Doughney and Alex Burton.
Treeton were skittled for 113 in exactly 31 overs.
The 69-run victory in Group 2 of the cup competition will raise confidence ahead of Monday's trip to Doncaster Town (12.30pm start) in the Yorkshire Leagues Knockout Cup as part of a busy week of cricket.
