Scarborough Chairman Aiming for Proper Away Stand

Scarborough Athletic's promotion to National League North could mean more segregated games next season.

The move up the leagues should bring bigger crowds to the Flamingo Land Stadium but also brings tougher safety regulations.

Boro Chairman - Trevor Bull - says they've been working on plans for any segregated games.

Boro may have to allocate one end of the Flamingo Land Stadium's Adverset stand to away supporters for some games next season.

The club's promotion to National League North brings with it a requirement to provide seating for away supporters.

Trevor Bull told Scarborough Athletic TV that for segregated games that will mean using part of the Adverset stand in the short term but that he has aspirations for the creation of proper away end with seating.

Trevor says the move up the football pyramid does bring with it more detailed rules and regulations. He says decisions about which games will be segregated will be made on a match by match basis and will be lead by conversations with safety officers and the police.
