Boro's hosts Easingwold batted first in Yorkshire Premier North, making a competitive 211/8 from their 50 overs.
Harry Walmsley took 3/27 and Gregor Fraser 2/32, with further wickets for Jack Redshaw, Gihan Maligaspe Karalage and Hayden Williamson.
In reply, the visitors put on 168 for the first wicket with Redshaw slamming 108 and Robert Pinder 59. Walmsley (15 not out) and Matthew Turnbull (21 not out) then fired the winning runs for a comprehensive seven wicket win, with four overs to spare.
It was a much tighter affair, in the same division, as Driffield Town also got their first victory of the new season.
Alec Drury was the star with 5/43 as hosts Woodhouse Grange were shot out for 189 from the last ball of the 50th over.
George Drury picked up 2/28 with additional contributions from James Anson, Methushan Thilina and Alex Burton.
Noah Kelly starred in Town's reply with an unbeaten century.
In an epic finale, Kelly scored 100 exactly from 146 balls as he struck the winning run off the second-last ball of the innings with last man, wicket-keeper Jack Gibson, with him at the crease.
There was a first defeat of the season, in YPN Championship East, for Folkton & Flixton.
The villagers chose to bat first but quickly slipped from 36/0 to 67/4.
Wicket-keeper Marley Ward fired an unbeaten 41 from 39 balls with additional contributions from Jake Hatton (39), Calum Hatton (35 not out) and skipper Richard Malthouse (33).
The hosts finished on 197/8 from their 50 overs and despite 3/51 from Elliot Hatton and 2/23 from Taryn Moses, visitors Londesborough Park got to their target with more than five overs to spare and losing only five wickets.
In the same division, Bridlington continued their winning run.
Put in to bat, Will Norman struck a destructive 77 from 68 balls and Sam Tennant blasted 67 from just 48 as Brid posted 236/6 from their 50 overs.
It proved more than enough as visitors Patrington were skittled for 211, despite being 106/1 at one stage.
Elliot Traves took 4/54 and there were two wickets each for Ben Traves and Ricky Robinson.
In YPN Division One east, Filey won a low-scoring encounter at Clarence Drive.
Batting first, Muhammad Hussnain Khalid was the star with 61 from only 40 balls- skipper David Brannan added a useful 40 as Filey were bowled out for 195 in the penultimate over.
The bowlers then took over as Josh Dawson took 3/25, Harry Burton 2/28, Ryan Baldry 2/40 and Tyler Beck 1/19- visitors South Holderness finished 30 runs short, despite batting out their 50 overs.
Pickering crushed Middleton & Dalton, who chose to bat first, by nine wickets. The hosts were skittled for 120 after 31 overs.
Kieran Bowes took 3/25, Kieran Boyes 2/21, Joe Harland 2/24 and Tim Whincup 1/11.
Ryan Taylor struck an unbeaten 64 as Pickering reached their target with one wicket down in the 23rd over.
Whitby lost a tight clash after being put in to bat at the Turnbull Ground in North Yorkshire South Durham Division One.
Wicket-keeper Charlie Taylor top-scored with 47 and Alf Jacobs hit a useful 31 as Whitby posted 179/9 from 50 overs.
They took regular wickets in Seaton Carew's response with Ricky Hall grabbing 2/20, Mathew Steyert taking 2/34 and Tom Steyert 2/52 but the away side got him with three wickets to spare.
