Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service's Restart a Heart Day.
They will be visiting 166 secondary schools in the region, including both East Riding College and Headlands School in Bridlington and will provide CPR training to the students.
Jason Carlyon is Community Engagement Manager for Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
Since the launch of the campaign in 2014, bystander CPR rates in Yorkshire have increased from 39.9% (2014) to 75.7% (2022).
Jason says that it's all down to people wanting to get involved with the training.
The service are also hoping to spread the word further through a 90-second film which will be entered into a competition being run as part of the Cardia Arrest Survival Summit in San Diego in America in November.
It's a tongue-in-cheek film in the style of a 1940s public information broadcast with a serious message.

Alongside this, the Yorkshire Ambulance Service is also launching an Ambassador Programme to equip students with the skills to teach life-saving skills to their peers.
It aims to build on the success of the campaign, which has provided CPR training to 202,529 students since it launched in Yorkshire in 2014.
Jason hopes that the ambassador programme will become a regular occurrence in schools around the area.
An Augmented Reality Pillow Partner filter has been developed further this year to bring CPR training to life. The technology acts as a guide for understanding the correct positioning and pace of chest compressions when using a Pillow Partner, providing a repeatable immersive learning experience.
Jason explains more about the Pillow Partner.
