An accident at Pond Hill lead to delays in both directions earlier.
Emergency services attended the scene of an accident on the A171 at Pond Hill just north of the Flask earlier.
Callers to This is the Coast reported that the road was blocked with lengthy queues in the area.
Emergency services left the scene around 11am. Traffic is now reported to be back to normal.
