The Council made the decision along with the Royal British Legion in light of the COVID situation.
In a social media post the Town Council say..
Due to the risks involved with Covid and to maintain the safety of the people of Bridlington, the Royal British Legion Branch & the Town Council consider that they have no choice but to announce that the Remembrance Day Service & Parade are not going ahead this year and all arrangements have been cancelled.
As a Town we will always remember those who endured terrible suffering, honour those who lost their lives and pay our respects safely in our homes and in our own time to protect and honour our veterans, their families and the generations who will come after us
