Bridlington Health Forum are encouraging local residents to turn up to a public meeting tomorrow to voice their views on health services in the town.
Councillor David Tucker, the new East Riding of Yorkshire Council Cabinet member with responsibility for Adults, Health and Care, will attend, listen and speak at the Health Forum meeting.
Dr Anthony Clarke is chair of the health forum, he says that Councillor Tucker is new to this role and "brings a fresh pair of eyes”, he believes the councillor is "keen to hear about local healthcare concerns, including the loss of so many services at Bridlington’s Hospital."
The Bridlington Health Forum are staging the event at Bridlington North Library at 10:30 on Saturday morning.
Dr Clarke - says it's important local people turn up and have their say.
Anthony says the Health Forum want to see more investment in Bridlington's health services and says they think ther eis more that can be done to bring service back to the town.
The Bridlington Health Forum is a group of volunteers representing local residents. They aim to offer listening ears and a voice to Bridlington and area residents who are concerned about local health care provision and seek to influence healthcare provision through the NHS and East Riding Council.
