
Firefighters on the Yorkshire Coast had two separate open fires to tackle on Friday.
Around 12.15pm, fire crew from Scarborough attended a call on Oliver's Mount.
They found three tree stumps on fire that they felt had been started deliberately.
Officers used one hose reel jet and knapsack sprayer to extinguish.
Firefighters from Filey then attended a call at Hunmanby around 8.10pm.
They again used a hose reel jet to make the open area safe- officers again felt the blaze was deliberately started.
