New data has shown the scale of work that Community Support organisations have undertaken in North Yorkshire during the COVID pandemic.
Liz Meade from the county council's stronger communities team says the numbers are impressive:
Figures from the county council show the organisations have delivered 19 thousand prescriptions, made 30 thousand shopping trips and over 18 thousand support phone calls.
Liz says the Community Support organisations will continue to have a role to play in the coming months:
