North Yorkshire WaterParks Parkrun - celebrates its 100th Event

North Yorkshire Water Park's Parkrun celebrates its 100th Event this weekend.

Over the last 2 years - North Yorkshire Water Park's Parkrun has become  a significant part of many peoples lives across the local community and hundreds run the course in Wykeham, Scarborough every week.

The event is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you! It happens every Saturday (sometimes weather permitting) from 9am. The event takes place at North Yorkshire Water Park, Long Causeway Rd, Wykeham, Scarborough, YO13 9QU. 

Today marks the 100th event and Volunteer and Organiser - John Purdy says it will be marked with a celebration and prize,:-

Over the years - the event has proven popular and has increased in numbers participating, as John explains.
