The work to keep COVID under control in North Yorkshire is going to continue for some time despite yesterdays easing of lockdown restrictions.
As life took another step towards normality yesterday with the further easing of lockdown restrictions those involved in delivering the local response to the pandemic in North Yorkshire say there is still much work to do.
Richard Webb is the county councils Director of Health & Adult Services and part of the Local Resilience Forum which has lead the county's response to the pandemic.
He says their work will have to continue in the months ahead in a number of areas.
Richard says the response work will continue for many more months but that not all of it may be visible.
