
Scarborough's unbeaten run was ended, but there were wins for Bridlington and Folkton and Flixton yesterday.
Scarborough lost their four-match unbeaten run in Yorkshire Premier North after defeat at North Marine Road on Saturday.
Pat Roberts' men made 217/8 batting first, with Cian Dickinson making 50 and Roberts himself adding 44. However visitors Sheriff Hutton Bridge recovered from 25 for 2- with James Wainman and Jack Holt striking early- to get home by four wickets.
Folkton and Flixton stay top of the York & District Premier Division after thumping Goole. Max Harland took 5 for 20 with three wickets for Elliot Hatton and two for 20 for Jake Hatton as Goole slumped to 85 all out. The villagers then raced to their target inside 18 overs, with skipper Tom Norman making 49.
Bridlington claimed a winning draw against Londesborough Park in Division One East. Batting first, Brid declared on 270 for 7 off 46 overs. Casey Rudd made 94 and fellow opener Sam Wragg hit 67. However, the visitors finished on 197 for 6 from their 54 overs- Simon Leeson took 3 for 12.
Whitby ended their run of defeats with a draw of their own against Darlington, in North Yorkshire South Durham Division One. The visitors collapsed from 130 for 2 to 194 all out with skipper Kai Morris taking 4 for 46 and brother Fin finishing with 3 for 36. It netted Whitby four extra overs but they couldn't reach their target, instead finishing on 153 for 7 with Kai Morris top scoring on 30.
