Liddle Respite As Whitby Town Target Safety

Gary Liddle's men host top-half side Warrington Rylands on Saturday.

After this, there's just three matches remaining- a trip to FC United of Manchester on Good Friday, already-relegated Blyth Spartans, at home, on Easter Monday and champions Macclesfield away on Saturday 26th April.

Rylands are a slender bet for the play-off places but are likely to provide a stiff test for the Blues.

The Cheshire side sacked their manager after a poor start to the season, losing 1-0 at home to Whitby in August.

Since then, former FC United boss Neil Reynolds has come in and stabilised them.

Whitby are just one place and three points from the NPL Premier relegation zone after a dramatic victory, at rivals Lancaster City, last weekend.

The fallout from the 1-0 win was discussed on this week's Codcast with goalkeeper Shane Bland and goalscorer Layton Watts.

Liddle is hoping to have striker Matty Tymon available again, after he was away last week.

Kick-off at the Towbar Express Stadium is 3.00pm

If you really can't make it, there's live commentary on This Is The Coast Extra from just before kick-off.
