A new food festival will be taking place at Bridlington Market next month.
The event has already attracted interest from sellers across the north.
Angela Langton is coordinating the festival which is taking place on July 2nd, she hopes it could become a regular event.
The festival will take place at the King Street market in Bridlington on Sunday July 2nd.
organisers say they already have 25 stalls booked for the event with traders coming from as far afield as Nottingham.
Organiser - Angela Langton - says food festivals have become very successful in other Yorkshire Towns and think Bridlington should get in on the action.
Angela says that for her organising an event at Bridlington market is something of a home coming, she hopes that local people will support the festival by visiting the traders at the market and says there is already enough interest from local firms and sellers across the north to potentially stage a second event in August.
