Homecoming for Scarborough Football Legend

Scarborough footballing legend Neil Warnock is back in the town tonight.

Neil will be talking about his footballing career in a show at Scarborough Spa.

Speaking on Paddy at Breakfast Neil said the show will feature many stories from Boro's 1987 promotion to the football league.

Neil's career took him from manager of Scarborough to the heights of the premier league.

Neil says that his stage show will feature may memories from Scarborough's promotion winning season back in 1987 and maybe some familiar faces too.

Neil says his time at Scarborough was one of the best experiences of his long footballing career and says he has some amazing memories from the experience which ultimately lead to Scarborough becoming the first football club to win promotion to the football league.

Much has changed in football during Neil's career with the Premiership bringing big money into the game, but despite all the changes Neil thinks the fundamentals of playing entertaining football and creating winning teams hasn't really changed.

Neil's "Are You With Me" show is at Scarborough Spa this evening (November 19th) at 7:30pm. There is more information at https://www.scarboroughspa.co.uk/neil-warnock-are-you-with-me
