Haslam Wants Strength At The Back After FA Cup Draw

Whitby Town manager Nathan Haslam says his side weren't physically and mentally strong enough at the back in Saturday's FA Cup draw at Mossley.

Town fell behind in the first minute after an error by skipper Jas Sukar was punished.

Stephen Walker netted a penalty for handball on 13 minutes, but a deflected goal early in the second half put Mossley back in front.

Walker, who hit the upright in the first half, then turned home for 2-2, midway through the second half.

Haslam spoke to Whitby Town TV after the game:

There'll be a replay on Tuesday night, at Whitby's Towbar Express Stadium, on 7.45pm.
