The Goldwing Light Parade returns to Scarborough for the first time in three years on Saturday.
The light parade has become an established part of Scarborough's event calendar over the last decade but COVID and the death of the Queen led to the cancellation of the previous events.
On Saturday evening over a hundred illuminated Goldwing's are expected to parade along the seafront with a free fireworks display afterwards.
Danielle Reeds has helped organise the event and says it will bring a lot of people to the town.
The whole event is free to attend with spectators asked to make a voluntary donation in the Yorkshire Air Ambulance collection buckets
There will be events taking place throughout the day on Saturday with the main parade starting at 8pm and the fireworks at 9:30pm.
Paddy will be entertaining the crowds from the this is the Coast Stage from 6pm.
Danielle Reeds says there will be activity throughout the day at West Pier.
Scarborough GoldWing Light Parade 2019 on The West PierPeople often ask how many spectators come to see the Scarborough GoldWing Light Parade. The experts estimate there could be as many as 15,000 to 20,000 along our parade route, but this fabulous video by Grant Wheatley gives an idea of how many come onto the West Pier to take photographs when the parade arrives back in South Bay
