There are also Flood Alerts for Whitby to Filey and for Bridlington too, issued by the Environment Agency this afternoon.

Scarborough has 2 flood warnings in force. The first is for Foreshore Road:

This flood warning has been issued as weather conditions along the coast are forecast to cause overtopping waves and spray on Thursday 29/12/2022, between 9.00 AM and 11.00 AM. Areas most at risk are properties in Scarborough at Foreshore Road from the roundabout to West Pier. Consider activating any property flood protection products. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
