Officers arrested five people at a house on Stepney Drive yesterday.
Following a report of a burglary in progress at an address on Stepney Drive on Sunday, police officers attended the scene at around 2:40pm where they found 5 persons inside of a residential house.
One person attempted to run from officers, but was swiftly caught. All five have been arrested and the investigation has begun.
Scarborough Police say:
"If you were on Stepney Drive today, did you see anything suspicious, or out of the ordinary? Have you driven along the road with dash-cam? If so, have you captured anything which you think might assist us with our investigation?
