Fame Academy Star Opening Whitby Charity's New Shop

Alastair Griffin is guest of honour as Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary opens its new shop in the town.

It's at 46 Flowergate, next to Poundland in the centre of Whitby.

There's been two months of renovations ahead of Saturday's grand opening.

Here's manager Alexandra Smith:

Alexandra says every year they take around 3,000 wildlife casualties a year from the North East of England. 

She went on to describe what funds raised from the shop will go to:

All volunteers and donations are welcome, with all invited to Saturday's grand opening.
