Fallen Trees Causing Problems As Storm Pia Hits Yorkshire Coast

A fallen tree has blocked the A171 in Cloughton and a fallen tree has blocked a road in Sandbyed, Scarborough.

Callers to Paddy At Breakfast reported fallen trees causing issues on roads up and down the Yorkshire Coast.

The A171 Mill Lane was blocked in Cloughton but is now back open. Earlier we took this call on Paddy @ Breakfast:

In the Sandybed area of Scarborough, a fallen tree has blocked the road on Sandybed Crescent.

A tree is blocking the road from East Ayton through Forge Valley near East Ayton Lodge.
