North Yorkshire Council's Executive Member for Environment has clarified the authority's current view on the subject.
Electric bin lorries are still not ready for North Yorkshire.
That's the view of the local authority's Executive Member for Managing our Environment.
Greg White explained why:
It comes amid the changes on bins in North Yorkshire which will see four colour-coded wheelie bins used- red for plastics/tins/glass, blue for paper/card, green for grass cuttings and grey for non-recyclable waste.
