The East Riding’s rate of Covid cases per 100,000 people has dropped from 370 over the last week.
A further 1,144 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus across Hull and East Yorkshire in the week up to Friday.
The Government’s latest rolling figures, updated on Friday, show the case rate per 100,000 people across the region was 245.3 in the East Riding in the seven days up to Sunday, April 24, the latest weekly data available.
A total of 105,331 new coronavirus cases were recorded nationally in the week up to Friday, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 22,038,340, with 1,560 new deaths recorded, making a total of 174,912.
