East Riding Council Plans for Tier 3 Revealed

Following the latest government announcement, East Riding of Yorkshire Council has announced how a number of its attractions will operate from Wednesday, 2 December, under Tier 3 restrictions.

South Cliff Holiday Park, Bridlington : will remain closed at least until the tiers are reviewed again on 16 December

Sewerby Hall and Gardens:  The house and holiday cottages will remain closed. From 2 December, the welcome centre, cafe (takeaway only) and the Zoo will reopen (pre booking is advised for the zoo). The gardens, toilets, car park and play area will remain open.

All visitors are reminded of the government guidance of no households mixing, and the rule of 6 applies.

Bridlington Spa:  All events up to Wednesday 16 December are cancelled and the box office team will contact customers who are affected by the cancellation of these shows offering a credit to customer accounts or a full refund.

A decision regarding shows taking place after Wednesday, 16 December will be made following the next tier review.

The café will also remain closed.

Chalets: All winter let and annual let chalets will remain closed

Local Nature Reserves, etc:  All Local Nature Reserves, countryside paths and Public Rights of Way, and Country Parks will remain open but people must maintain social distancing and observe the Rule of 6. Details of walks in the East Riding can be found at http://walkingtheriding.eastriding.gov.uk/

Beaches and Promenades: will remain open, but all users must observe social distancing. The Coastal Services team will still be available on email at foreshores@eastriding.gov.uk

The council is reminding residents that a range of online activities is available on the Active East Riding website : www.ActiveEastRiding.co.uk
