As Filey prepares for this years Kite festival aerial footage has been released of last year's event.
This year's event is taking place in just over a weeks time on September 16th and 17th.
The free event is expected to attract dozens of the UK’s best Kite flyers, displaying a wide variety of weird and wonderful kites over the Yorkshire coast skies. The weekends’ events will be hosted and commentated by the Northern Kite Group who help organise the event in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.
They have released footage of last year's event showing some of the kites flying high above Filey Country Park.
As well as a massive programme of kite flying there will also be a children’s fairground rides, refreshments will be available from the some traders and the Country Park Café.
The event rill run from 10am to 4pm on both Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September.
