
Police in in the Scarborough Borough will be clamping down on house parties this weekend.
Indoor gatherings are not allowed under the lockdown regulations.
Last weekend there were 34 fines issued to people breaking the indoor gathering rules in North Yorkshire, all of them in the Scarborough Borough.
Superintendent Mike Walker from North Yorkshire Police says it's been a particular problem on the Yorkshire Coast.
North Yorkshire Police have issued 107 Fixed Penalty Notices for breaches of the Coronavirus regulations since the new national lockdown commenced on 6 January 2021.
49 of those fines have been issued in the Scarborough Borough
