
The fire service in North Yorkshire is going to try to increase the number of on-call firefighters it has available by building office space at some of it's fire stations.
Business Hubs could be created at some of North Yorkshire's fire stations in an effort to increase the number of on-call fire fighters.
The hubs would provide workspace for on-call personnel to do their day jobs in.
Chief Fire Officer - John Foster - says with more people now working from home, it's an opportunity to expand the number of people who could be on-call firefighters.
