The team event consists of 16 players from each nation playing rinks across 4 mats with the combined score on all mats deciding the outcome of the match. The national winners from each country play in the singles, pairs, triples and fours events.
Bronagh Toleman says it's a big deal for the town to be hosting the event, she's hoping that local people will join the spectators cheering on the teams.
The bowling will be taking place from 9am on Saturday and 9:30 on Sunday at the Scarborough Indoor Bowls Centre.
