Bring a Pound Makes Scarborough Hospice Thousands

Our bring a pound to work day has earned over £6,000 for St Catherine's Hospice in Scarborough.

Scores of businesses up and down the coast donated with employees bringing in £1 to their work, even if they're working from home.

Companies from Whitby, Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and everywhere in-between got in on the act with This is the Coast presenters and sales staff joined by a number of business ambassadors, last month.

It's now been announced by Communications and Marketing Manager Susan Stephenson of St Catherine's, the final total...

Susan went on to thank everyone who got involved in any capacity and explained where the money goes:
