Boro's Campaign Begins With Trip To Peterborough Sports This Afternoon

The new football season get's underway today and Scarborough Athletic begin with a tough trip to Peterborough Sports. 

Boro have an unbeaten record against this afternoon's opponents, picking up two wins against them last season. 

Chairman Trevor Bull admits that he has his eye on a couple of stand out fixtures that he is most looking forward to. 

Ahead of this afternoon's season opener, Boro added two new faces to their squad with goalkeeper Ryan Whitley returning to the club on loan from York City and midfielder Curtis Durose on loan from Rotherham United.

Manager Jonathan Greening is hoping that his can build on the successes of the last two seasons.
