Confirming the news, Boro posted:
"Scarborough Athletic are pleased to confirm the signing of Bill Marshall following his release from York City. The 18 year old midfielder, who is Scarborough born, impressed as a trialist in the recent County Cup fixture and is available to play in tomorrow's National League North fixture against Kidderminster Harriers in front of his hometown supporters".
Boro's match against Kidderminster is the rearranged game from November 23rd.
Kidderminster sit in 4th place in the National League North table, on 43 points from 23 games played. They have been consistent at the top of the table for the first half of the season, securing 13 wins so far, only league leaders Curzon Ashton have won more, with 14.
In league action their most recent 4 game winning streak came to an end on New Year’s Day, suffering a 1-0 defeat at home to Rushall Olympic. In their last fixture, Ashley Hemmings bagged a hat-trick to secure a 4-0 victory over Slough Town at Aggborough to book their place in the FA Trophy fifth round.
