Scarborough Athletic got back to winning ways on Saturday with Whitby also picking up a useful result.
In the NPL Premier, Scarborough Athletic enjoyed a great comeback win to defeat Witton Albion 3-2 yesterday.
Albion led inside five minutes after Will Jones netted, but Boro quickly responded as Ashley Jackson scored and turned things on their head before the break when Lewis Maloney fired home.
Returning skipper Michael Coulson looked to have put the result beyond doubt with Scarborough's third, midway through the second half, but Callum Saunders' strike for Witton made for a tense finale for the Seadogs and their fans, but they clung on.
Elsewhere, in the same division, Whitby Town fought to a 0-0 draw at Warrington Town.
The Blues suffered injuries to centre-half Lewis Ritson and winger Liam Cooke but battled on, even clipping the post through Marcus Giles, as they took a useful point from the 6th v 5th encounter, in Cheshire.
Bridlington Town lost out 2-1 at Tadcaster Albion in NPL East.
Brid player-boss Brett Agnew opened the scoring on six minutes but Romario Vieira levelled three minutes later.
Albion, led by former Scarborough Athletic boss John Deacey for the first time, won it through Vieira's second, around the hour mark.
